The Object of the Event is to promote multicultural integration as well as to broaden the knowledge of Capoeira, Samba and Maculêlê - essential elements of the popular afro-brazilian culture which developed and survived throughout brazilian history. Starting out from your experiences and knowledge, the acquaintance with afro-brazilian popular culture should contribute to attain a new perception of black forms of expression, values and traditions.
